

Les (Thomas Leslie) Marshall, 69, passed away on August 30, 2019. He was born August 1, 1950 in Atlanta, Georgia to the late Ben and Dot Marshall. Les lived in many cities throughout his life before settling in Tampa.
He served in the United States Marine Corps from 1971-1973, was a security guard in India during his service and worked as an auditor in the banking industry for over 20 years. He married his beloved wife Cheryl on September 12, 1981 and together they raised twin sons, Marcus and Joseph.
Les had a lifelong passion for sailing, he also loved kite flying, traveling and cooking. Les had a collection of knives and fountain pens and later in life enjoyed his creativity with adult coloring books. Les enjoyed all of these hobbies, but most of all enjoyed his time with his family and especially his grandchildren. He was known for being a jokester and a kind spirit.
Les is survived by his beloved wife Cheryl; his loving sons and daughters in-law- Marcus and Lindsey and Joseph and Ashley; his cherished grandchildren Beyoncé Quiles, James,Sarah Pearl Noto-Marshall, Nevaeh, Joe and Jace; and his loving brothers and sisters in-law- Bill and Kathy and Rodney and Leslie; and his loving sisters and brothers in-law- Beverly and Larry Kiepke and Lynn and Richard Carver. He is also survived by many cherished cousins, nieces and nephews.
