

CIMO, Nelson, Sr., 77, lifelong resident of Tampa entered into rest February 15, 2010. Nelson owned and operated Cimo & Cimo Auto Upholstery in West Tampa with his brother Tom Sr. He was a veteran of the U.S. Army serving during the Korean Conflict. Nelson enjoyed going to the beach, music, dancing, and hunting in Ocala National Forest. He was a loving husband, father and good friend. He was preceded in death by his parents, Dominic and Rose; and sister, Glenda Garcia. Survivors include his wife of 25 years, Janet; son, Nelson Jr.; daughters, Lori Cimo-Ryan and husband Tom, Leslie Vellas and husband Nick; daughter-in-law, Daisy Cimo; grandchildren, Alysia, Angelina, Nicholas; step-mother, Martha L. Cimo; brothers, Tom Sr., Michael, and Richard. A funeral service will be held 4 p.m. Saturday, February 20, 2010 at Gonzalez Funeral Home, 7209 N. Dale Mabry Hwy. The family will receive friends Saturday from 2-4 p.m. at the funeral home. Flowers will be accepted or contributions may be made to LifePath Hospice, Development Department, 12973 N.
