Pedro Taylor

Pedro was born in Havana, Cuba on July 15, 1953. He immigrated to the United States in 1962 and became a citizen in 1974. He is a graduate of Leto High School, Class of 1972. He was a carpenter who worked for the Hillsborough County School Maintenance Division for 34 years, retiring in 2016.

Pedro was a golf lover and played multiple times a week for many years. He was renowned for his jokes and was often the life of the party.

Pedro is preceded in death by his parents, Pedro and Daria Taylor, and his beloved wife Miriam.

He is survived by his children, Jackie, Anthony, and Mike; his grandchildren, Janelly, Sasha, Javier, Giovani, Lennon, and Ripley; his great-grandchildren, Chloe, Camila, Calliope, Cora, Casey, Leila and Charlotte.

A celebration of life gathering for Pedro will be held Thursday, July 10, 2025 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at Gonzalez Funeral Home, 7209 North Dale Mabry Highway, Tampa, FL 33614, followed by a memorial service beginning at 7:00PM.
