

Robert “Bob” Parrish Kellenberger was born November 21, 1946, in Tampa, Florida, and died on May 22, 2023, in Tampa, Florida. He attended Satellite High School in Satellite Beach, Florida where he loved to surf.
Bob enlisted in the U.S. Army in 1968, attended the Defense Language Institute in Monterey, California in 1969, and served as a Signal Intelligence Interceptor in West Berlin and Bad Aibling in West Germany. Upon completion of his first enlistment, he returned to Tampa and attended the University of South Florida and obtained a Bachelor of Arts Degree. Bob married Margaret Stone in 1975 and reenlisted in the U.S. Army Reserves in 1976. In 1984, he joined the 138th Aviation Company and participated in: Operation Bright Star, Operation Desert Storm, Operation Enduring Freedom, and Operation Iraqi Freedom.
Bob retired as a Chief Warrant Officer 3 from the U.S. Army in 2006 after 34 years of exceptional service. He earned multiple meritorious medals including the Legion of Merit.
In addition to his Military Service, Bob served as a letter carrier for the United States Postal Service for 22 years.
Bob is survived by his wife of 47 years, Margaret Kellenberger; daughter, Kristina (husband Jimmy) Schramm; grandchildren Nicholas Schramm and Tyler Schramm; Mother, Eunice Moore; Siblings, Curt Kellenberger, Carol (Husband Tom) Schoff, Jan Leda, and Kevin Kellenberger.
A Celebration of Life will be held at Blount and Curry Funeral Home at 605 S. MacDill Avenue on Saturday, June 3rd. A viewing will take place from 11:00 AM-12:00 PM, a funeral service from 12:00 PM-2:00 PM, and a reception from 2:00 PM-4:00PM. The Celebration will continue at Kristina and Jimmy’s home following the reception.
