

Adrian was born on September 30, 1956 in Temple, TX to Wallace and Elsie Jez. Adrian grew up in East Bell County helping his parents on the farm and working on farm equipment, he had a knack for working with his hands and tinkering with engines. Adrian graduated from Temple High School in 1975, then Temple Junior College in 1978. He married Ellen Moore Jez on January 31, 1981, and moved his family to Houston the following year, after accepting a position with Brown and Root. Four years later, in 1986, Adrian and his family returned to Temple, where he built and operated Adrian’s Garage, coining the phrase “If Man Built it, We Can Fix it”
Adrian was a member of S.P.J.S.T Lodge 47, Seaton Star Hall and the Knights of Columbus. He enjoyed racing ICMA modified dirt track cars, rebuilding engines, flying helicopters, Polka dancing, snow skiing and summers at the lake.
Survivors include, his mother Elsie Jez, of Temple, his sister Magdalen White Doehre, her husband Tom and family of Temple, his wife Ellen Jez, of Temple, his daughters and their families all of Temple.
Proceeded in death by his father, Wallace Jez.
Services will be held at Scanio-Harper Funeral Home on Friday December 14, 2018 at 10:00 A.M. Visitation will be from 6:00 P.M. to 8:00 P.M. Thursday at Scanio-Harper Funeral Home.
