Alberta Emily Green

Funeral services for Alberta Emily Green, 101, of Temple will be held at 10:00 A.M. Monday at St. Luke Catholic Church with Father Walter Matus officiating. Burial will be in St. Joseph Catholic Church Cemetery. Mrs. Green died Thursday in a Temple Living Center. Mrs. Green was born in Temple Nov. 5, 1909 to Albert Green and Emily Kohut Green. She married Benno Green May 20, 1925. He preceded her in death in 1976. She was a homemaker. She was a member of St. Luke Catholic Church, The Altar Society and Temple Home Demonstration Club. She lived in the Cyclone and Temple area all of her life. Mrs. Green was preceded in death by two daughters Ruth Mikeska and Loran Pick and one sister Cleo Leibham. Survivors include one son Glenn Green of Temple; two daughters Doris Provazek of Temple and Beatrice Matous of Temple; one sister Eleanor Rusnak of Irving; nineteen grandchildren, thirty five great grandchildren and five great great grandchildren. In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to Vista Care Hospice 2626 S. 37th St. Temple, Texas 76504. Visitation will be held from 6:00 P.M. to 7:00 P.M. with rosary at 7:00 P.M. Sunday at Scanio-Harper Funeral Home.
