Mr. Sheppard died Friday at his residence.
Mr. Sheppard was born May 21, 1967 in Hope, Arkansas to Alton Lee Sheppard, Jr. and Elizabeth Ann Allen Sheppard. He lived in Temple most of his life. He graduated from Temple High School and was a fiber splicer and technician as well as having a passion for wood working and carpentry. His Christian affiliation was with the Assembly of God.Mr. Sheppard was preceded in death by his brother Luke Sheppard.
Survivors include two sons Matthew Sheppard of New Braunfels and Marc Sheppard and his wife Elly of Temple; two daughters Megan Sheppard and spouse Garrett Walkerof Temple and Emily Griffin and her fiancée Landon Pelley of Rogers; his parents of Temple; grandparents Alton (Buck) Sheppard and Neta Sheppard of Temple; his sister Rebecca Ann Morse of North Carolina; grandchildren William Luke Walker of Temple and Gray Clayton Sheppard of Temple.
Visitation will be from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM Tuesday at Scanio-Harper Funeral Home.
