Mr. Bulls passed away on Saturday, August 23, 2025 at a local hospital.
Bob was born and raised in the Belfalls community, graduated from Troy High School in 1946 and later married his high school sweetheart, Eva Jean Weaver, in 1951. He served in the United States Air Force from 1948 to 1969. He graduated from the 2nd Air Force Strategic Air Command’s Senior Non-Commissioned Officers Academy at Barksdale Air Force Base, Shreveport, Louisiana in 1960. He served in seven stateside Air Force bases and three overseas bases in Alaska, Newfoundland and Turkey. He retired with the Grade of Chief Master Sergeant (E-9) performing as Superintendent in the Security and Law Enforcement Career field. During his military career he received numerous ribbons and metals, two of which were commendation metals. After his retirement from the Air Force in 1969, he then worked for Duplex Products, a business forms manufacturer, in Temple, as the Office and Production Control Manager from 1969 – 1989. He was a member of the Grace Presbyterian Church in Temple where he also volunteered as a Meals on Wheels advocate.
Survivors include one daughter, Debra Hupp and her husband Craig of Georgia; two sons, Curtis Bulls and his wife Bernice and Keith Bulls and his wife Melinda, both of Temple; one granddaughter, Ashley Miller; four grandsons, Marcus and Lucas Valdespino and Ethan and Trace Bulls.
Bob was preceded in death by his first wife of 45 years, Eva Jean Bulls; his second wife Bonniebell Martin; his parents; three brothers, Lewis Bulls, R.L. Bulls and Richard Bulls; and three sisters, Brooksie Corley, Eunice Huffhines, and Doris McPherson.
