C. Foster Muth

Foster was preceded in death by his parents, John and Pauline Muth.

He is survived by his wife of 46 years, Paula Godwin Muth and his son, Charles Foster (Chuck) Muth, Jr., and Elizabeth Godwin Muth from Dallas, Texas; his brothers, John Phillip (Phil) Muth and wife Julie from Wimberley, Texas and Robert Lindsay Muth and wife Ellen from Dallas, Texas as well as his aunt, Sue Killam and cousins David, Kati and Tracy from Laredo, Texas.

Foster was a Dallas native and a graduate of St. Mark’s School of Texas class of 1971. He excelled in sports and played football, soccer and track in high school. He married the love of his life, Paula, on January 26th, 1973 in Saint Michael chapel. Sadly, several years ago Foster suffered from a stroke which affected his vision. Despite this setback, he remained cheerful and continued with his life as best he could. Foster was a kind, gentle, compassionate and loving husband, dad and friend to many. He loved his family fiercely, the outdoors, music, movies, the Dallas Cowboys, Texas Longhorns and his devoted dog, Marley. He was known for his friendliness, generosity and unselfish spirit. This wonderful person will be very much missed.

A celebration of his life will be held at Saint Michael and All Angels Chapel, 8011 Douglas Avenue, Dallas on Saturday, December 29th at 11:00am with a reception following.
