Funeral services for Charles Eugene Harmon, 79, of Temple will be held at 10:00 A.M. Tuesday December 11, 2007 at Scanio Harper Funeral Home with Frank Scherich officiating. Burial will be in Coon Creek Cemetery near Whitney. Mr. Harmon died Saturday in a Temple hospital. He was born in Bailey, Oklahoma to Dan Harmon and Ruby Pinon Harmon. He lived in Whitney for about twenty five years before moving to Temple six years ago. He worked as a heavy equipment operator and was a Baptist. Survivors include his son Ronnie Harmon and his wife Virginia of Temple; his daughter Sharlett Brown of Rogers and three grandchildren Seana Fischer of Colorado, Norma Andrews of Georgetown and Armando Escalera III ofVirginia. Visitation will be from 6 P.M. to 8 P.M. Monday at Scanio Harper Funeral Home.
