Ida Pearl Doehre

Ida Pearl Doehre, age 93 of Temple, died Saturday, April 22, 2017 in a local care center.  Services will be held at 10:00 am Thursday, April 27th at Scanio-Harper Funeral Home with Rev. Roger White officiating.  Burial will follow at Bellwood Memorial Park.  Visitation will be 5:00 – 7:00 pm Wednesday at the funeral home.   Mrs. Doehre was born May 9, 1923 in Temple to W. S. and Nora Pearl Lueck. She married Curtis W. Doehre on March 7, 1941.  He preceded her in death June 1, 1993. She was a former homemaker and worked with the TISD food service in schools for 10 plus years. She was a longtime member of the First Lutheran Church of Temple for 65 plus years. Her hobbies included gardening, cooking, enjoying her flowers, sewing, watching sports, most of all football and taking care of grand kids and great grand kids and spending time with family and friends. She was preceded in death by her husband of 52 years. Survivors include two daughters, Patty Doehre of Katy, Kathy Holmes and husband, Jack of Temple, one son, Thomas Doehre and wife Magdalen of Temple and four grandchildren, Mandy Dunn, Ashley Bangert and husband, Rusty, Brandon Doehre and wife, Lisa and Ethan White and seven great-grandchildren, Alyssa and Lilly Dunn, Shay, Layne and Clyne Bangert and Gavin and Harper White.
