J. B. Mauldin

Mr. J.B. Mauldin, age 83, of Temple died Tuesday, May 13, 2008 at a Temple hospital. Services for Mr. Mauldin will be held at 10:00 AM Friday, May 16, 2008 at the Scanio-Harper Funeral Home in Temple with Rev. Victor Pena officiating. Burial will follow at North Belton Cemetery. Mr. Mauldin was born March 27, 1925 in White Deer, Texas the son of Jim and Thelma McDonald Mauldin. He retired as the director of Industrial Operations at Fort Hood in 1982. He was a longtime active member of the St. Paul United Methodist Church in Temple. He married Gloria Stewart Mauldin on January 6, 1996. Survivors are his wife, Gloria Mauldin of Temple, two sons, Byron Mauldin of Belton and Bob Mauldin of Crosby, two stepdaughters, Kathy Stewart of Richmond and Sallye Stewart of Buffalo Gap, three grandchildren and four great grandchildren also included are two step grandchildren and a step great-grandson. In lieu of flowers the family requests that memorials be made to the St. Paul United Methodist Church, 2407 West Avenue P, Temple, Texas 76502. Family visitation will be held from 6 until 8 PM Thursday at the Scanio-Harper Funeral Home, 3110 Airport Road, Temple, Texas 76504.
