James Byron Bartlett, age 70, of Belfalls, passed away on Saturday, February, 6, 2021 in a Waco care facility. He was born on May 3, 1950 in Temple, Texas the son of Marion L. and Leona H (Motl) Bartlett.
A visitation will take place on Monday, February 8, 2021 from 5:00pm – 7:00pm at Scanio-Harper Funeral Home 3110 Airport Rd. Temple, Texas 76504.
A graveside funeral service will be held on Tuesday, February 9, 2021 at 2:00pm at Seaton Cemetery.
James was confirmed at Seaton Brethren Church, served his country in the United States Navy, and in his later years after his father passed, James was the caretaker for his mother Leona.
He is survived by his siblings, M.L. Bartlett and wife Betty of Troy, Kay Schwank and husband Ronald of Lorena, Darlene Graves and husband Glenn of Troy, and Gaylon Bartlett of Temple. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews and many great-nieces and great-nephews.
