A visitation for James Ray Creech, 68, of Temple will be held at the home of Dr. and Mrs. Jack Weinblatt 5416 Bentwood Court in Temple on Friday July 1, 2011 from 6:00 P.M. to 8:00 P.M. Mr. Creech died Monday at his residence. Mr. Creech was born May 30, 1943 in San Angelo to Donald Woodrow Creech and Virginia Melnot Stewart Creech. He graduated from Temple High School and attended the University of Texas in Austin. He lived in Fort Lauderdale, Florida for many years and had worked as the manager of Department Stores. Survivors include one daughter Lara Wakefield of Columbia, Missouri; one son Jason Creech of Abilene; two brothers Donald Stewart Creech of Boerne and Robert Thomas Creech of Arlington; one sister Wanda Weinblatt of Temple and two grandchildren. Scanio-Harper Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
