Services for Janice Epperson Wiseman, age 62 of Temple, were held at Hillcrest Cemetery in Temple on Tuesday, August 16, 2016 with the Dr. Ron Milne officiating. Mrs. Wiseman passed and went to be with the Lord on Friday, August 12, 2016 in her home with her family. She was born February 16, 1954 in Temple to Carl and Lydia Epperson of Temple. She married Billy Wiseman, Jr. on December 7, 1973 at Immanuel Baptist Church in Temple. Mr. & Mrs. Wiseman had three children together. She was a graduate of Temple High School and then attended UMHB in Belton where she received her degree in elementary education. She worked as a school teacher for 37 years at Troy ISD where she taught first grade and special education. She was a very active member in her church where she attended Immanuel Baptist Church and was as well very active within her community. Mrs. Wiseman was preceded in death by her husband Billy in February 1990 and her mother. Survivors include her father, Carl Epperson, her three children, Emily Wiseman, Will Wiseman, and Sarah Gott and her three granddaughters, Scarlett, Maddie, and Brysen all of Temple.
