Jessica Wigginton

Jessica "Jackie" Wigginton, 91, of Temple died Tuesday May 3, 2011 in a Temple hospital. Funeral services will be held at 10:00 a.m. Thursday May 5, 2011 at the Scanio-Harper Funeral Home with Rev. Jeff Loudin officiating. Burial will follow at Bellwood Memorial Park. Ms. Wigginton was born November 22, 1919 in Rice, Texas to Asbury Truelove and Cynthia Rosetta Wigginton. She was a graduate of Temple High School and attended Temple College, Durham Business School, and Hieronymus Business School. She had worked as a budget analyst with the Department of Army at Fort Hood, Texas for over 30 years. She was a member of Immanuel Baptist Church and the Bykota Sunday School Class and the Degree of Honor Lodge #37. Survivors include one brother, George Burl Wigginton and wife Mattie of Temple; sister-in-law, Vera Wigginton of Temple; several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by five sisters and three brothers. Visitation will held 6-8 p.m. Wednesday at the funeral home.
