John Pitts, 66, of Troy died Monday June 25, 2012 at his home. No services will be planned. Mr. Pitts was born January 24, 1946 in Oenaville, Texas to Stanley Eugene and Rosa Lee Scott Pitts, Sr. Survivors include his wife Michelle R. Pitts of Troy; one sister, Doris Pond of Temple; one brother, Stanley Eugene Pitts of Temple; three step-children, Dona Spiller of Angleton, Texas, Trey Christian of Delaware, and Amanda Lee of El Paso, Texas; ten grandchildren.
