Joy L. Williams, 76, of Temple died Monday September 29, 2008 at her home. Funeral services will be held at 2:00 P.M. Friday October 3, 2008 at Meadow Oaks Baptist Church with Rev. Lillian Hinds officiating. Burial will follow at Bellwood Memorial Park. Visitation will be held 1-2 p.m. Friday at Meadow Oaks Baptist Church. Mrs. Williams was born January 21, 1932 in Temple to Earl and Chloe Stevens Hook. She was a graduate of Temple High School in 1949. She married Carrell Williams on February 17, 1950 in Temple. She was employed by Scott and White Hospital as a legal secretary for 15 years. She was a member of Meadow Oaks Baptist Church and many other civic clubs in Temple. Survivors include her husband, Carrell Williams of Temple; one son, Todd Williams of Amarillo; one sister, Glenda Kristinek of Fort Worth; three grandchildren.
