
Funeral services for Lillian Lucille Burrier, 80, of Temple will be held at 10:00 A.M. Wednesday at Scanio-Harper Funeral Home with Rev. John Stanley Troy officiating. Burial will be in Seaton Cemetery. Mrs. Burrier died Sunday in a Temple Nursing Home. Mrs. Burrier was born in Burnet January 13, 1932 to James Lowell Hyman and Clara Hinds Hyman. She attended Belton Schools and lived in the Temple area all of her life. She married Wilford Cox July 7, 1947. He preceded her in death in 1967. She owned Burrier Manufacturing, makers of window shades, storm windows and screens, in Academy and Moffat. She was a member of Temple Porcelain Art Guild and the State Federation of Porcelain Art, where she served as President, and the International Porcelain Art Teachers. While touring Europe she taught Porcelain painting. She was a member of Temple Bible Church. Mrs. Burrier was preceded in death by one son David Michael Cox. Survivors include one son Audrey Lynn Cox of Little River; one daughter Belinda Psencik of Academy; one brother Jackie Leon Hyman of Kempner; one sister Geraldine Bowers of Temple; nine grandchildren and ten great grandchildren. Memorials may be made to the Temple Public Library. Visitation will be Tuesday from 6:00 P.M. to 8:00 P.M. at Scanio-Harper Funeral Home.
