Funeral services for Mary Louise Johnson, 61, of Temple will be held at Scanio-Harper Funeral Home at 2:00 P.M. Wednesday. Mrs. Johnson died Saturday in a Temple Nursing Home. Mrs. Johnson was born in Brownsville to Vincent Perez and Josephine Lopez Perez. She married David Johnson who preceded her in death in 1998. She had worked as a telemarketer and managed the Park Pacific Apartments in Phoenix, Arizona. She moved to Temple in 2009 from Arizona where she spent the last twenty years. She was a Baptist. She was preceded in death by one son Justin Johnson in 2001. Survivors include one son Rick Steadman of Mesa, Arizona; one daughter Michelle Gurley of West Palm Beach, Florida; one brother Frederick D. Munger of Temple; one sister Toni Forest of Tempe, Arizona and two grandchildren. Visitation will be from 1:00 P.M. to 2:00 P.M. Wednesday at Scanio-Harper Funeral Home.
