Funeral services for Mary Spacek, 79, of Rogers will be held at 1:00 P.M. Monday at Scanio-Harper Funeral Home with Rev. Billy Ray Crow officiating. Burial will be in McLean Cemetery. Mrs. Spacek died Thursday in a Temple Hospital. Mrs. Spacek was born in Milano May 6, 1932 to W.H. Thornell and Jewell Graves Thornell. She graduated from Bellville High School in 1949 and graduated from Business College. She had lived in Rogers for many years. She worked as an Instrument Technician at Scott and White Hospital. She attended the Assembly of God. She was preceded in death by her parents and two sisters Sissy Smith and Ava Long. Survivors include one son Larry Spacek and wife, Debra of Rogers; one daughter Janice Barefoot and husband, Michael of Temple; one sister Frances Hill of Katy; one granddaughter Carrie Spacek of Rogers and one great granddaughter Hope Mendoza Spacek of Rogers. Visitation will be from 4:00 P.M. to 6:00 P.M. Sunday at Scanio-Harper Funeral Home.
