Matthew Jon Hattemer, 44, of San Antonio, formerly of Temple died Saturday, February 23, 2008 in a local hospital. A memorial service will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Saturday, March 1, 2008 at St. Mary's Catholic Church in Temple. Survivors include his parents, John D. and Roberta A. Hattemer of Temple; two brothers, Stephen Hattemer and Mark Hattemer both of Temple; three sisters, Michelle Wright of Temple, Karen Scallions of Belton, and Lisa Ferree of Coppell; his partner, Robert Ortiz of San Antonio; seven nieces and six nephews. The family requests that in lieu of flowers donations be made to St. Mary's Catholic School Gymnasium, 1019 S. 7th Street, Temple, Texas 76504.
