Nancy Hicks Young

Survivors include a daughter Debbie McLean and her husband James of Temple, Tx, a son Jimmy Young  and his wife  Shannon of Weatherford, Tx, a sister Linda Saia of Glen Burnie, MD., grandchildren Christopher Bartek, Ashley Welborn, Jared McLean, Jennifer Young, Jason Young and his wife  Courtney, Raysha Ingle, Erin Graves and her husband Kyle, Kaitlin Pask and her husband Brandon and five great grandchildren Heidi Rose Young, Gentry Wallis Graves, Gibson Michelle Graves, Lyla Ranne Pask and Axel Dean Pash.

Nancy was married to Windell Young on November 29, 1957 and they began their life together in Maryland where they lived until 1973 before moving to Rogers, Texas where they raised their family and started an AC and Heating business.  Nancy enjoyed working and being active and continued to do AC work with her grandson in Austin who followed in their footsteps taking over the business they started.

A visitation will take place on Thursday, January 2, 2020 from 5:00 P.M. to 7:00 P.M. at Scanio-Harper Funeral Home 3110 Airport Rd. Temple, Texas 76504.
