Paul Evans

Visitation will take place on Sunday, December 1, 2019 from 6:00pm-8:00pm at Scanio-Harper Funeral Home 3110 Airport Rd. Temple, Texas 76504.

A funeral service will take place on Monday, December 2, 2019 at 11:00am at Temple Christian Center 5101 W. Adams Ave. Temple, Texas 76502 followed by burial at Oenaville Cemetery.

Paul married Arlene Ivans on July 13, 1963 in Juarez, Mexico. He served his country in the United States Air Force, was a member of The Temple Christian Center and worked for the Santa Fe Railroad retiring in 1995 after 30 plus years of service.

He is survived by his wife Arlene of Temple, children, Carla (J.L.) Owens of Troy, Paulette (Don) Pitts of Lovington, New Mexico, Vickie Davis of Troy, Tommy Evans of Odessa, and Kelly Bailey of Temple, 17 grandchildren, Glenna, Christie, B.J., Leslie, Travis, Kacie, Donna, Darell, Meagan, Jarred, Michelle, Demi, Shane, Tamara, Kim, Crystal, and Chase, 35 great-grandchildren, and 4 great-great-grandchildren. He is also survived by a sister Linda (Jim) Hill of Arkansas.

Paul was preceded in death by a son Eddy Evans, daughter Glenna Tidwell, 3 brothers, 3 sisters, and his parents.
