Memorial services are pending for Paul. A. Gray, 88, of Temple. Burial will be a later date in North Belton Cemetery. Mr. Gray died Monday in a Belton Nursing Home. Mr. Gray was born July 23, 1923 in Katemcy to Carl Aaron Gray and Lida Oda Blackwell. He married Rena Leona Regian Dec. 21, 1940. She preceded him in death in 1997. He moved to Temple in 1950 and was the minister of Church of Jesus at 23rd and Ave. C in Temple. He was also the District Bishop of five states. He was Vice President of Bethesda Ministries International, Inc. for many years. Mr. Gray was preceded in death by two daughters Roberta Leona Gray Cox and Lida LaFern Gray. Survivors include one son Paul M. Gray and his wife Sharon of Temple; six grandchildren James Cox, Rhonda P. Cox, Rena Darlyne Cook and her husband James, Charity Faith Hughes and her husband Roy, Paul Royce Gray and his wife Jennifer and Timothy Layne Gray and his wife Kelly; fourteen great grandchildren and 1 great great grandchild. The family has requested no flowers. Scanio-Harper Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
