Pete T. Hernandez, age 74, of Temple died Friday, June 4, 2010 in a local hospital. Graveside services with military honors will be held at 2:00 PM Monday, June 7 at Central Texas State Veterans Cemetery with Pastor Sam Spano officiating. Visitation will be 3:00 - 5:00 PM Sunday at Scanio-Harper Funeral Home. Mr. Hernandez was born on October 19, 1935 in Temple to Timoteo and Frances (Tellez) Hernandez. He was a veteran of the U. S. Navy. He was preceded in death by his parents and three sisters, Gloria Luna, Olivia Trevino and Rosa Marcus. Survivors include one son, Pete Hernandez, Jr., one daughter, Rosalinda Garcia and one sister, Lydia Santiago all of Temple.
