Robbie Sue Sacket, 77, of Temple died Thursday June 13, 2013 in a local hospital. Funeral services will be held at 3:00 p.m. Saturday at the Scanio-Harper Funeral Home with Rev. Ron Milne officiating. Private burial will follow at Bellwood Memorial Park. Mrs. Sacket was born October 22, 1935 in Magdalena, New Mexico. She married D. Jack Sacket in 1957 he preceded her in death in 2004. She was a member of Immanuel Baptist Church where she was active in the Wednesday night suppers and the Operation Christmas Child Program. She was co-owner of Paintin'Peddlers and taught art classes for many years. Visitation will be held 2:00-3:00 p.m. Saturday at the funeral home. Survivors include two daughters, Phyllis Mangum of Euless, TX and Kim Merrett of Arlington, TX; one son, Rick Sacket of Temple; six grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren.
