

Services for Robert "Bobby" Knowlton Shaw, 61, of Temple will be 2pm Wednesday at Scanio-Harper Funeral Home in Temple with the Rev. Ronnie Rhoades officiating. Burial will be at Bellwood Memorial Park in Temple. Bobby died Sunday, April 22 in a Temple Hospital. He was born on Oct. 28, 1950 to Thomas Oscar Shaw and Frances Rebecca Chandler, in Houston, Texas. His nickname was "Bobcat". He was a Master Electrician for over 30 years. He loved his family, friends, doing taxidermy, fishing, hunting and telling jokes. He was a devoted christian. He was a great husband, dad, friend, brother, and uncle whom will be dearly missed by all. On June 4, 1971, he married the love of his life, Jerrie Sue Paulk in Temple. He was a member of several clubs including: the Bell County Sportsman's Club, Free Penecostal Church of Jesus and the National Rifle Association. He was preceded in death by his parents-Thomas and Frances Shaw, one sister-Carolyn Dexter, one brother-Tommy Shaw, several aunts and uncles. Survivors include his wife, Jerrie Shaw, his daughters, Amy Shaw-Williams and Emily Shaw both of Temple, honorary son Paul Wilson, one brother Richard Shaw of Belton, one half sister Debbie Hoggard of Bryan/College Station, two nephews, four nieces, many cousins, aunts, an uncle and many good friends. Memorials may be made to the National Rifle Association, Texas Game Warden Association, and Cal Farley's Boys Ranch.
