Mr. Mooney died Sunday at his residence.
Mr. Mooney was born in Midland, January 2, 1955, to Luther Mooney and Dorothy McQuerry Mooney. He moved to the Belton area in 1967. He worked as a dry wall finisher. He was a Baptist.
Survivors include two sons Brandon Mooney of Killeen and Rusty Mooney of New York; one daughter Brandie Mooney of Salado; one brother Daniel Mooney of Frost; one sister Becky Green of Belton; eight grandchildren and two great grandchildren.
Scanio-Harper Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
