Roy Earl Huber

O B I T U A R Y March 7, 2006 Mr. Roy Earl Huber, 95, of Temple died Monday March 7, 2006 in a Harker Heights nursing center. Services for Mr. Huber will be at 10:00 AM Thursday March 9, 2006 at the Scanio-Harper Funeral Home with Rev Deborah Jones and Dr. Rodney Kruse officiating. Masonic graveside rites will follow at Bellwood Memorial Park. Mr. Huber was born October 15, 1910 in Indianapolis, Indiana the son of Asa Vasco and Clara Williams Huber. He married Loretta Louise Sohn, October 15, 1933 she preceded him in death February 24, 2003. He also was preceded in death by one son Donald Huber June 14, 2001. Mr. Huber was a member of the First Christian Church where he was an elder emeritus. He is a Past Master of the Belton Masonic Lodge and received his fifty year service award in 1997. He was a 32nd degree mason and a member of the Scottish Rite, He served as a member of the Stage Crew for the Scottish Rite for many years. Mr. Huber is survived by his daughter in law Ada Huber of Temple three grandchildren Ronald and Wife Carla Huber, James Huber, and Kathryn (Huber) Cavanaugh and husband Paul. A family visitation will be held from 6 until 7 pm Wednesday march 8, 2006 at the Scanio-Harper Funeral Home in Temple.
