Trent Michael Ulloa, age 23, passed away on January 4, 2026 as a result of an automobile accident. Though his time was far too short, Trent filled it with creativity, curiosity, and a deep love for music, family, and hands-on work.
Trent was born on August 29, 2002, at Carl R. Darnall Army Medical Center in Fort Hood, Texas. He was raised in Temple, where he spent most of his life and built lasting friendships and memories.
He is lovingly survived by his father, Mike David Ulloa, Jr.; mother, Shannon Colleen Ulloa; sister, Anjelica Christine Colvin; and sister, Hayley Sky Ulloa, along with many extended family members and friends who will forever cherish him.
Trent attended Pirtle Elementary School, Lake Belton Middle School, and graduated from Belton High School in 2020. In the 9th grade, Trent began his pursuit into modeling and eventually tried his hand out at acting. From a very young age, Trent’s passion for music was unmistakable. What began as drumming on pots and pans grew into a remarkable musical journey. In high school, he was part of the drumline in the Marching 100 and he competed at the state level on snare drum, earning the highest possible score on his solo performance.
Music remained a constant in his life—he went on to teach himself keyboard and guitar by ear and later discovered a love for singing.
As a child, Trent enjoyed playing soccer, and he did that recreationally until playing select soccer for LFC. Band rehearsals and other commitments then ensued after soccer which he happily embraced. In his senior year of high school, he discovered another passion—working on cars. He embraced the challenge and satisfaction of automotive work and continued doing what he loved up until his passing. His final place of employment was Meineke of Temple, Texas, where his dedication and work ethic were valued and appreciated.
Trent will be remembered for his creativity, determination, and the way he pursued what he loved with enthusiasm and heart. His music, laughter, and kind spirit will continue to live on through those who knew him.
In honor of Trent’s lifelong love for music, the family requests that memorial donations be made to the Texas Music Project in Trent’s name. Donations may be made at www.texasmusicproject.org.
Burial will follow at 10am Monday, January 12, 2026 at Greathouse Cemetery in Temple.
