
William Adrian Hardin, age 65, of Temple died Sunday April 6, 2008 in a Temple hospital. Graveside services with military honors will be held at 11:00 AM Friday, April 11, 2008 at the Central Texas State Veterans Cemetery in Killeen, Texas. He was born the son of Johnny and Christine Hardin on September 1, 1942 in Knox City, Texas. He attended school in Guthrie. He grew up and shipped out into the U.S. Army on June 1, 1961. He was honorably discharged on February 14, 1962. He worked as a Foreman Machinist at Artco Bell. He had a passion for knife making, gun repair and treasure hunting. He leaves behind eight children, Christine M. Hardin, Jon W. Hardin, Tori Hardin, Joni G. Oglesby, Matthew D. James, Samantha M. James, Gina M. James and Jamie L. Porter all of Temple. He is also survived by grandchildren, Dillon Hardin, Skylar Hardin, Maddux Hardin, Danny Aller and Brandy Aller as well as three great-grandchildren. He also leaves behind a wife, Christine E. Hardin. They were married for 16 years from December, 1991. The day they married was the day his life became complete. He was preceded in death by his first wife, Shelia Hand Hardin. William Adrian Hardin was a good man, a good husband and the best father anyone could ever have. He will be missed by all. Memorials may be made to any Veterans Service Organization.
