Angelo "Ang" Higgins

Angelo was born October 26, 1971 in Elizabeth NJ to Michael & Loretta Higgins. He later moved to Brick NJ, where he lived his early adulthood. He had many friends, to know him was to love him. He later moved to Toms River where he enjoyed his favorite Naples pizza & daily 7-11 coffees. Angelo loved being on the water & made it his lifelong career bulkheading for 35+ years, always going above & beyond to ensure his work would last. He was an avid fisherman & loved to show off his biggest catches with his signature grin. He loved his children & grandchildren very much & made the trip to see them in Illinois as often as he could, sharing all life events from graduations to the births of his 6 granddaughters and the most recent trip planning to meet his newest grandchild in a week.

He is survived by his 3 daughters Liah (Enrique) Gonzalez, Laci Higgins (Isaac Ybarra), Hailee Higgins (Daniel Hart), his son & right hand man Hunter Higgins, 7 grandchildren, Sadee, Zoee, Sofee, Zola, Charliee, Sunee & to be announced, a bonus granddaughter Savannah, his mother Loretta, one sister Loretta (Robert) Argento. Also surviving is the mother of his children & lifelong friend Heather Cotten, longtime partner Deanna Hood, her children Brittney & Shawn Lennon, 5 grandchildren Mason, Jayce, Asher, Kash & Kassidy & family, his nephews Matthew, & Robby, & niece Gabby, his brother & sister in law Jim & Jennifer Watson and countless wonderful friends who were more like family.

Angelo is predeceased by his father Michael Higgins, nephew Robert Watson & niece Ashlee Watson

Visitation will be held on Sunday, June 8, 2025 from 1-5 PM at the Quinn-Hopping Funeral Home, 26 Mule Rd., Toms River, NJ.
