She was the daughter of the late Glen Adams (Clinton) Crosskey of Greenville, Alabama. She graduated High School at the age of 17 and moved to East Orange, New Jersey. She earned some college credits and worked at a local telephone company, department store, and a hospital. She later met her former husband, Cordell Aarons, Sr. They were blessed with a son (Cordell Jr.) and a daughter (Deborah Ann), whereas both preceded her in death.
Ann's surviving siblings include Thomas Crosskey and his wife Debbie of St. Cloud, FL, and Doris McCaskill Davison of Evergreen, Alabama. Ann regularly called numerous family members and friends in Alabama to keep abreast of the happenings. Her phone calls will be missed by her family and friends.
Ann was a member of the Catholic faith and her wish was to rest with her son, Corey, at St. Joseph Cemetery in Toms River, NJ.
