Anthony Choida

Anthony Choida, 88, of Berkeley Twp., passed away Saturday, June 5, 2021 at Hampton Ridge Healthcare Center, Toms River. Born in Staten Island, NY on December 14, 1932; Anthony had also lived in Orange, NJ; Nutley, NJ; Ocean City, Maryland; Georgetown, Delaware; before moving to Toms River in 2016. Anthony graduated from the Essex County Vocational School, upon graduation he worked as a Tool Maker for over 50 years most recently at MAC Products, Kearny, NJ for 19 years before retiring in 1995. In his spare time he enjoyed hunting, gunsmithing, reloading his own ammunition, target shooting and bowling. Anthony is the son of the late Antonio T. and Josephine (Macaluso) Choida. He was predeceased by his sister Marion (Choida) Picillo. Anthony is survived by his loving wife of 67 years Marie (Ciervo) Choida; his son Anthony and wife Wanda of Nazareth, Pa; daughters Linda Colucci and her husband Vito of Belleville, NJ; Kathy Dondarski and her husband Michael of Millsboro, Delaware; 11 grandchildren, Chris and wife Alicia, Tony, Peter and partner Danielle, Joseph and wife Sara, Marc and wife Ana, Lisa and husband Dominick, Tina and husband Mark, Michael and wife Lindsay, Richard and wife Kristin; Amanda and her husband Max; Matt; 12 great grandchildren, Joseph, Michael, Giorgio, Adrianna, Ava, Justin, Sloane, Maxon, Cali, Nash, Griffin and Mia. Along with numerous cousins, nieces and nephews.

A visitation will be held Wednesday, June 9, 2021 from 10am to 12 pm at the Quinn-Hopping Funeral Home, 145 E Mt. Pleasant Ave., Livingston, NJ. A Funeral Service will begin promptly at 11:45 am. Interment will follow to Gate of Heaven Cemetery, East Hanover, NJ.
