

Carole J. Hartman, age 86, of Holiday City, Berkeley section of Toms River, NJ, passed peacefully into the arms of her Lord & Savior, Jesus Christ, on Monday, July 8, 2024 in her home with her husband by her side. Carole was born in Montclair, NJ, was raised between Bloomfield and Caldwell, NJ, and had been a resident of Toms River for over 20 years and Naples, FL, for 5 years. Carole loved animals, flowers, gardens and deeply appreciated nature.
Carole is survived by her husband of 24 years, Robert J. Hartman, Sr.; a son, Frederick Driver, III; her stepchildren, Dawn Rogers (Tyme) and Robert Hartman, Jr. (Karen); her grandchildren, Nicholas and Nicole; her step-grandchildren, Erin and Kaitlin; her great-grandson, Jensen; her step-great-grandchildren, Gavin and Lily; and several nieces, nephews and cousins. Carole was predeceased by her parents, Charles and Christine Hambacher; her brothers, Charles and Norman Hambacher; and her sisters, Dorothy Herklotz and Janice Funk.
Visitation will be on Friday, July 12, 2024 from 4 p.m. to 7 p.m. at the Quinn-Hopping Funeral Home, 26 Mule Road, Toms River, NJ 08755. A graveside funeral service for Carole will be held Saturday, July 13, 2024 at 11:30 a.m. at the Restland Memorial Park, 77 Deforest Avenue, East Hanover, NJ 07936.
