Liz moved to New Jersey as a child and attended Toms River South High School. She met her first husband in 1990 and became a mother at the age of 23 in 1992. Her life was shaped by a very difficult beginning, leading to lifelong challenges. She was separated from her children but, through hard work and perseverance she was reunited with them in 2010, which brought her incredible happiness. She became a grandmother in 2012. She met her current husband in 2003 at a car show, and it was love at first sight. These were among her most cherished accomplishments.
Liz was a Certified Nurse’s Aide and a Certified Medication Aide, titles that she held with pride. She worked in many local medical facilities, including The Havens Assisted Living, Silverwood, Fountain View and most recently at Complete Care at Arbors in Manchester. She loved her patients, going above and beyond-often spending her own money on gifts and supplies to make them more comfortable.
Liz lived in Manchester for the last 22 years with her loving husband William “Bill” Kile. She enjoyed spending time with her family, chatting with friends, taking naps, going on cruises and eating seafood. Liz’s favorite cartoon characters were ‘Tweety’ bird, because of her daughter who she called her little bird and ‘Taz’ for her son whom she believed was always a little wild with a kind heart.
Liz found joy in helping others and would bring food and supplies to those who were less fortunate. She also loved animals, especially strays, who she fed, too. Liz was the type of person that, when she was determined to do something, nothing would stop her. She brought the room alive when she entered and was sure to greet everyone with a hug and a kiss. She possessed a wild and generous spirit and will forever be remembered by those whose lives she impacted.
Liz was a proud Member of Jackson Elks Lodge #2744 where she volunteered her time and love of cooking to make their events a success. She is also a member of St. Joseph’s Roman Catholic Church, Toms River.
