Henry C. “Hank” Brakowski, 67, of Toms River passed away on Tuesday December 2, 2014. Hank was a lifelong resident of Bayonne, NJ prior to moving to Toms River in 2007. He was a veteran of the US Air Force and was past Post Commander of the American Legion. Hank had worked as a technician at Western Electric in Kearny and then as a draftsman for ADT Co. in the World Trade Center.
Hank was predeceased by his wife of 29 years Geraldine Riedinger Brakowski in March 2014. He is survived by his brother Vincent Brakowski of CO; his sister-in-law and her husband Patricia and Michael Scaturo of Toms River; his niece Christina Brakowski and his nephew Eric Brakowski.
Visiting hours will be Friday December 5th from 2-4 and 7-9 PM at the Quinn-Hopping Funeral Home 26 Mule Road Toms River, NJ 08755. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Saturday December 6, 2014 at St. Maximilian Kolbe RC Church in Berkeley Twp., NJ. Interment will follow at Holy Cross Cemetery in North Arlington, NJ.
