Joan E. Adami, 90, of Toms River, passed away peacefully surrounded by her loving family at Community Medical Center, Toms River on Monday, August 9, 2021. Born in Brooklyn, NY Joan had lived in Brooklyn for 65 years before moving to Toms River 26 years ago. Joan was an Administrative Assistant with Western Electric and also the NYC Board of Education retiring 28 years ago.
Joan is survived by her loving husband of 65 years, Silvio, and her children; sons, Thomas and his wife Lori, Donald and his wife Lisa and Robert and his wife MaryAnn, her grandchildren; Nicole, Joseph, Anthony, Stephen, Michael, Matthew and Christopher.
A Visitation will be held on Thursday, August 12, 2021 4pm to 8 pm at the Quinn-Hopping Funeral Home, 26 Mule Rd., Toms River. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Friday, August 13th 10 am at St. Maximilian Kolbe RC Church, Toms River with Interment to follow to St. Charles Cemetery, Long Island, NY.
