I'm just finding out that Lew (LewBe1) has passed. I am so very sorry for this loss. One of the kindest people I have known in my life. We laughed so much in our old chat room days. Rest in Eternal peace..Lewbie**Save me a seat**

My son was always so happy to come back from the school where his Uncle Lew worked. He would share stories of how fond the people at the school were of him, and they would point out all the work he had done before he retired. Jimmy's words, "He is a legend there"

Lucy, you know how I felt about him...he was such a good person...funny and easy to talk to...always there to help. 
I remember Mommy couldn't get over how sweet and funny he was when he went to her house to do the light fixture.  He was just always there when u needed him
..(unless there was a golf game!)
I will miss my friend...but it will be nothing compared to the loss you are experiencing.

Memories Lew…so many.  Mostly ones you won’t let me live down, (mocha, turbulence, speakers, trips down the streets of NYC.).  We were friends long before I even met your brother and became family.  To say I’ll miss you would be an understatement….and you never called me by my first name always “Quicksell” …  I know you’ll be waiting for the day we’ll all be together again, and I’m certain the teasing will resume….you were the Best Lew and we loved you dearly. …so I’ll be looking for you when I cross over and waiting for my moniker…“QUICKSELL!”…  I’ll really miss that!  Until then, ♥️

From the "OOOS and AHHH"s of every firework show at the park, the parades on your porch, the jokes and pokes of what made us who we were. I mean CLEARLY I am the favorite :)   
Thankful for the lifetime of memories, for the Uncle you were to not only me but my family...I love you!  and I laugh saying that because every single time I did, I watched you smile and get emotional. It was always important to me you knew I loved you. 
Hold that remote for me until I can get there <3

I worked with Lew for years at Montgomery High School. He was a decent, caring, hard working man who took the time to be sensitive to the needs of the colleagues around him.  He was well liked and I for one enjoyed the friendship we had in the building.  I am sorry that I lost touch with him after he retired ; although I was happy to reconnect with him at a few work occasions.  

So sorry to hear of his passing.  He was a good man.

Always made sure you had that birthday cake, even though you never really wanted one.  I know I'll miss taking these silly selfies, too, and sending them to after you got home and sharing that good laugh.  I cannot believe I am just not going to see you anymore, and every time I think of it, my heart breaks over and over.  We didn't have the best start, but I hope by the time you left us, you knew how much I was going to miss you.  You were my brotha, and I will miss you more than you can ever know .  If you are able to come back as my dog (your idea of Heaven), please be sure to throw me a hint, so I can make you all your favorite dishes.   RIP my sweet brotha.  Until we meet again......xoxoxo

Rest peacefully Lew.  From what I hear, you put up a very brave and courageous fight.  I'll always remember all of the fun times back in the day with our over 40 shore crew!  

Lew was a special person.  He always went out of his way to help others whenever he could.  Although we hadn’t been in touch for a number of years, I will always remember his kindness.

May he rest in peace.
