Mrs. Ingoglia, the daughter of Jacob and Rose Monteleone, was born and raised in Brooklyn, NY, and graduated from Franklin Lane High School and the American Institute of Banking whereupon she pursued a career in banking.
In 1947, she married Charles L. Ingoglia of Brooklyn and in 1951, moved to Scotch Plains, NJ, where they raised two sons. Active in her church and community, Mrs. Ingoglia belonged to the Rosary Society of Saint Bartholomew and served as a Cub Scout Den Mother.
In 1988, she and her husband moved to Toms River where she continued her involvement in community affairs. She was a member of the Italian-American Club, Women’s Club, Holiday Heights Chorus, and supporter of the Holiday City First Aid Squad. In 2007 she and Charles celebrated 60 years of Marriage.
Mrs. Ingoglia enjoyed traveling with her family, visiting Europe, Africa, Asia and many parts of the United States. An avid reader, she was an original founder of the Holiday City Library. Most of all, she treasured her time entertaining family and friends in her home.
She is pre-deceased by her husband Charles and siblings Rose Amore, Joseph Monteleone, Josephine Amore and Charles Monteleone. Surviving are sons Dennis and his wife Mary of Brielle and Charles and his wife Cyndy of Tinton Falls, as well as her grandchildren Matthew Ingoglia and his wife Catherine Tomko of Washington, DC and Ryan Tumelty and Marissa Dwyer of NYC and numerous Nieces and nephews.
