Michael Lawrence Mione

Michael Lawrence Mione, born on June 12, 1959, in Brooklyn, New York, passed away on January 8, 2026, at the age of 66. A resident of Manchester Township, New Jersey, Michael was known for his beloved, humorous, and kind-hearted nature.

Michael grew up in the Midwood section of Brooklyn, New York, and later raised his family in Upstate, New York, before retiring to Whiting, New Jersey, five years ago. He had a successful career as a Logistics Manager with Light Speed in Manhattan, New York.

Charismatic and surrounded by many friends, Michael was married to his beloved wife Carol for 15 years until she passed away five years ago. He is survived by his three children: Jerad Mione and his wife Clariza, Zachary Mione and his wife Lauren, and Marisa Mione and her husband Stephen. Michael was also a proud grandfather to Logan, Clara, and Eli. He leaves behind his sister, Frances Simeone, and her husband Anthony. He was predeceased by his brother, Peter Mione.

In his personal life, Michael enjoyed playing the guitar, listening to music, talking and watching football, cooking, eating, gardening, and spending time with his family.

Cremation will be private. Michael's memory will be cherished by all who knew him.
