

Born in Irvington, he resided in Lawrenceville before settling in Ocean County in 1975.
A Navy veteran, Scott honorably served our country and was discharged in 1962. While in active service, he was a navigator on the U.S.S. Pickerel.
Scott was also a Chemist, in the cosmetic industry and most recently worked for Cardre in South Plainfield. In addition, a beloved hobby turned into a second career when he took over Ocean County Karate Academy in Toms River. He operated this school as an 8th Degree Black Belt and Sensei, where he taught generations of other black belts and Kenpo Masters. Some of his other passions included motorcycles, sailing, travelling to Hawaii, and his beloved family.
He was predeceased by his parents, Milton, Sr., and Helen; and his twin brothers, Neil and Wayne.
Surviving is his loving wife of 63 years, Dolores; his children: Donna Evans and her husband Harry, and Stephen Price and his wife Wendy; his grandchildren: Jillian Hawtin and her husband Michael, Brenden Evans, and Ethan Wesley; and his great-grandchildren: Avery Rose and Grayson Hawtin.
A visitation will be held on Wednesday, October 6, 2021 from 4-8PM at Quinn-Hopping Funeral Home, 26 Mule Road, Toms River.
A service will be held in conjunction with the visitation at 7:30PM. A private cremation will follow.
