Nicholas Donatiello

Nicholas E Donatiello, 89 of Bayville, NJ died on Saturday July 6, 2024. He was born in Newark NJ to the late Thomas and Marie (Lepore) Donatiello. He attended East Orange High School and Rutgers University. He was pre-deceased by his wife of 50 years Madelyn (Tullio) Donatiello and his son Nicholas E Donatiello Jr. He was a veteran of the US Navy, serving aboard the USS Mc Caffery (DD-860).

After returning from the Navy, he settled in Livingston, NJ and went to work for NCR Corporation where he had a career of 35 years. He retired in 1995 as a Vice President of Sales and Marketing. While in Livingston he was a Chairman of the Livingston Planning Board and was a Past President of the Livingston Kiwanis Club. He was a member of the National Association of Accountants, Man of the Year for the Livingston Soccer Club, a Republican Committeeman and a Trustee of the Livingston Republican Club. He was a member of Governor Kean’s Private Sector Advisory Panel on Motor Vehicles. He enjoyed golf in both Bayville and Jensen Beach Florida.

He is survived by his brother Eugene and his wife Lenora of Brick NJ, son Guy and his wife Deborah of Vero Beach Fl, daughter Lisa Kispert and her husband Karl of Flemington NJ and son Christopher of Emeryville CA. He was grandfather to Lindsay Harrison (Bryan), Kathleen Donatiello, Alex Kispert, Sarah Kispert, Elizabeth Donatiello, William Donatiello and Michael Donatiello and great grandfather to Caroline Harrison.

Services will be held on August 2, 2024 at 11:00 am at Gate of Heaven Cemetery Mausoleum, 225 Ridgedale Avenue, East Hanover NJ 07936. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made in Nicholas’ name to Vetwork.org of Forked River NJ, an organization that meets the needs of Ocean County Veterans.
