Patricia A. Barcliff (nee Costello), of Philadelphia, PA, passed away peacefully on January 11, 2026. She was 82 years old. Pat was a beloved, hard-working, and faithful individual who touched the lives of many.
Born in Philadelphia, PA, she was a lifelong city resident. Pat dedicated her career to serving the Archdiocese of Philadelphia in various administrative and business management roles, contributing significantly across multiple locations throughout the city.
Pat cherished her time with family, particularly during summers spent visiting Sea Isle City, NJ. Her love for family was evident in the joy she found in these cherished moments.
Pat was the beloved wife of Clifford W. Barcliff. She was a loving mother to Clifford (Melanie), Scott, and Tricia Tantum (Clifford). She was a dear grandmother to Elizabeth Tantum and a loving sister to Kathleen Kulakowski (Frank), William Costello (Carol), and Helena Costello Ferrara. Patricia was predeceased by her parents, William J. and Helena Costello, and her sister Maryamn Tillger (Paul). Pat is also survived by many adoring nieces, nephews, and friends who will miss her dearly.
Relatives and friends are invited to gather Saturday, January 24th from 10 am to 11 am at St Jerome R. C. Church, 8100 Colfax Street, Philadelphia, PA 19136. Her Memorial Mass will begin at 11 am. Interment will be private. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Pat’s name to St Jerome’s Memorial Fund, by using the church website "welcome back" link, or by mailing the donation to the church at 8100 Colfax Street, Philadelphia, PA 19136.
