Bob is survived by his wife Lynne Sheppard of Toms River; daughter Kerri McGeehan and husband Patrick, son Robert Sheppard and wife Adriana, and son Timothy. Bob was an adoring grandfather to Paige, Sarah, Brennan, and Shane McGeehan. Bob is preceded in death by sister Patricia Richardson.
One of seven children, Bob was born on July 10, 1944 in Jersey City to Thomas and Sarah Sheppard. He graduated from Bayonne High School in 1962. He married Lynne Kobryn in 1968 and later joined the Bayonne Fire Department, where he served for 25 years.
A Memorial Service is scheduled for February 29th at 11am at the Spring Lake Golf Club. Reception lunch to follow. All are welcome to attend and celebrate Bob’s life. We ask all guests to dress appropriate and to honor the clubs dress code.
