Rose L. Romano, 97, of Berkeley Twp, passed away at home on Monday April 11th. Born in New York City, she lived in Bayville, NJ for 20 years before moving to the Silver Ridge Park section of Berkeley Twp in 1994. She was an executive secretary for Frank H. Taylor and Son in East Orange, NJ for 18 years. She was a communicant of St. Maximilian Kolbe RC Church.
She is survived by her sister Marie Rhode of Lakewood, NJ. She is also survived by 3 nephews and 2 nieces and many great nieces and nephews and great-great nieces and nephews.
Visiting is Wednesday April 13th from 2-6 PM at Quinn-Hopping Funeral Home 26 Mule Road, Toms River, NJ 08755. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Thursday April 14th at 10:30 AM at St. Maximilian Kolbe RC Church, Toms River, NJ. Burial will follow at George Washington Memorial Park, Paramus, NJ.
