Theresa Chadwick

She was predeceased by her husband Clarence H. Chadwick III and son Raymond. She is also predeceased by her mother Doris M. Maddox and brother Ralph Maddox Jr.

Theresa was the steady heart of her family, a woman whose kindness was a quiet, guiding force. As a mother and grandmother, she was more than just a matriarch; she was a confidante and safe harbor. She took immense pride in watching her children grow into the people they are today, and she was the biggest cheerleader for her grandchildren Adrianna, Gabby and Nathaniel.

Whether she was offering sage advice to her eldest, sharing a laugh with her middle grandchild, or keeping up with the busy life of her youngest, she had a rare gift for meeting them exactly where they were. She never missed a chance to tell them how proud she was of them. To her, a perfect afternoon was simply a house full of her family's voices, a testament to the deep, unconditional love she poured into every one of them. She taught us all that the greatest legacy you can leave is a family that truly knows they are loved.

Surviving is her brother Robert Maddox; her sons Clarence H. IV, and Christopher; her daughter Nadine Ramales and husband Miguel Ramales. Also surviving are her grandchildren Adrianna, Gabby & Nathaniel.

Memorial Visitation will be held from 1:00 pm to 4:00 pm on Sunday April 19, 2026 at Quinn-Hopping Funeral Home 26 Mule Road Toms River, NJ 08755. A Celebration of Life Service will be held at 3:30 pm.
