Virginia Ann D'Annunzio, age 81, of Toms River, New Jersey passed away on Thursday, September 18, 2025 at home surrounded by family. She was born on March 26, 1944 in Jersey City, NJ. Virginia was raised in Jersey City and was a former resident of Keansburg and Chatham, before moving to Toms River in 2012. She was a beloved mother and homemaker who took care of anyone who walked through her door. Virginia loved her coffee. Wife of the late Carmen D'Annunzio, Jr. who passed away in 2012 after 48 years of marriage; and mother-in-law of the late Sharyn Callaghan; and a sister of her late 7 siblings; Virginia is survived by her children, Virginia Petrilli and her husband Anthony, Carmen D'Annunzio, III., George D'Annunzio, Gloria Loubet and her husband Ron, Vincent D'Annunzio, and her nephew whom she adopted, Brian D'Annunzio; her grandchildren, Michael, Nina, Zoe, Cameron, Shyanne, Savanna, and Samantha; her two sisters, Nancy Fischer and Sally Hoffman; a sister-in-law, Judith Binner, and many other nieces, nephews, and extended family.
