William “Billy” Pearson II, 45, of Pennsville, NJ left this life on Earth on Sunday, January 24, 2021, to become a resident of Heaven and there he will wait for the rest of his loved ones to join him when God calls us home. Until then, he will be looking down on all of us while he cruises around Heaven on a Harley. He wouldn’t be happy if he didn’t have a Harley to ride. “Billy” had the biggest heart. He would never hold a grudge and would always forgive anyone who had hurt him. He was kind, caring and loved his cats (and anyone else’s cats too!) From the time Billy got his Spiderman Big Wheel when he was a little boy he remained one of “Spidey’s” biggest and most loyal fans, even at the age of 45. Billy really enjoyed playing his guitar and we know he is jamming with EVH “up there”. In later years riding his motorcycles was on the top of his list. He absolutely loved and appreciated the Harley Chopper that Wayne gave to him.
Billy is survived by his beloved children, Gabrielle Mae and William Gary who always brought him joy and happiness and his former wife and mother of their children Laura Applegate, his devoted mother, Cathy Arata and her fiancée Wayne Mayer, his younger brother, Francis Pearson (Shannon) with whom he shared a special relationship, his sisters, Tara Pearson (Vincent) and Keri Santora (Ray). He became an Uncle to his first niece, Laurelyn, when he was 14 years old and he forever loved being her Uncle Bill. He also leaves behind his nieces, Genavieve, Angelyna, Giovanna (who is his Goddaughter) and his nephew, Francis Rocco, who will always miss their Uncle Bill. Also left to grieve his loss is Melissa Smith who was very special to him and many others who will never forget his smiles and kindness.
Visitation will be held Sunday, January 31, 2021 from 1-4 pm at the Quinn-Hopping Funeral Home, 26 Mule Rd., Toms River. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated, Monday February 1, 2021 at St. Justin the Martyr RC Church 9:30 am, with Interment to follow to St. Joseph’s Cemetery, Toms River.
In lieu of flowers donations may be made to the National Motorcycle Safety fund, www.http://nmsfund.org
